For this year’s Summer Camp, the Emerald City team and I agreed on a retro/vintage style that evoked the feelings and activities of summer: being outside, warm weather, sports, the pool, etc. We realied this through 1960s-inspired type, stylized imagery, and bright colors. For a postcard sent to previous campers, this took the form of a vintage-inspired postcard. For the brochure, we also made use of cartoon icons to easily communicate the camp titles and perks in each program.
