Chicago Fringe Festival Rebranding

In 2015, the Chicago Fringe Festival approached me about updated their branding. They had been founded 6 years before with a black and white grunge-flavored logo, which was dated and no longer reflective of this upbeat, inclusive company.

I led a several session workshop to help the organization identify its core brand attributes (bold, eclectic, and welcoming), and from there we built this logo, which everyone was very enthusiastic about. We would go on to quickly integrate it into all of their materials.

Building on this workshop, I then designed and built them a brand new Wordpress-based responsive website. At the time, there weren't any good event plugins for Wordpress for festivals that have non-regular recurring events, so much of the event management code I wrote from scratch.
