Many programs from the Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus over the past few years have been collections of songs from specific decades. For each of those concerts, I’ve aimed to capture the feeling of that decade for their marketing imagery, each time putting a gay spin on it.

For the Chorus’s 2023-2024 Season—it’s 40th anniversary season—I chose to unify the imagery for the programs with the idea of “memorabilia.” In each instance, the posters and marketing illustrations features collections of items to evoke the theme. In these examples: sports, drag queens, and the 1980s.
