Following up on the successful rebranding that I lead for the Chicago Fringe, the team asked me to come on board as their designer for the following festival. For a primary marketing illustration, I aimed to capture the energy, variety, and creative chaos that embodied the festival. The imagery was a hit and was used throughout the festival design package.

The 2015 Chicago Fringe Festival poster along with the original concept sketch and another concept that was not chosen for the final verison.

Excerpts from the Festival program, including festival map and schedule. The “f” pattern on the back cover is a reference to the variety of typefaces in the new Fringe logo.

The staff & volunteer shirts featured an energetic two-headed kitten that aligned with the fest’s “weirder. theatre.” slogan. The kitten(s) was such a hit that the fest team would go on to paint it on windows and make a giant wooden cut-out of it.
