What’s been taking so long getting those new comics up? Well, this is what got in the way. Not only have I been designing all the marketing for the show, but I’m in it, and the whole process got very time-consuming just after Christmas.

The concept for this piece was to create a beautiful dichotomy: the lowly flower girl being integrated into the ornate beauty of an art nouveau composition. Somehow, she feels out of place, and that’s the point. The play itself (much more so than the musical adaptation My Fair Lady) is about beauty and what it takes to be recognized as beautiful and worthwhile.

For more info on the play, check out the BoHo Theatre Facebook page. And I’ll have new comics for you starting Monday!
