So what is a freelance artist to do in the lull between jobs, when money is a little uncertain? Well, Lisa is great at spotting online opportunities, and this was one of them. A local artists organization in Logan Square is holding a poster contest for their 3rd annual art festival. So I spent a full day yesterday creating this poster. Will it nab me $1K? Let’s hope so! Daddy’s got some rent to pay!
Also, I’ve got a Twitter account now! My username is c_riff. When I get around to redesigning this blog, I’ll be a Twitter feed in the sidebar. But one thing at a time.
