There it is, the proof for this giant book project I’ve been working on for the last six months. Almost 120 full-color pages telling the story of the first 15 years of Remy Bumppo Theatre Company through press clipping, interviews, production photos, candid behind-the-scenes photos, designer renderings, original show posters, random backstage memorabilia, and testimonials from over 75 artists, designers, and patrons who have been connected to the company. I was the manager and point person for the project, as well as the designer. This has been a monster of a project, but quite satisfying, and the company is ecstatic at the way it has turned out. I’m sending it to the printer on Monday. Whew!
So what’s in the works now? Well the redesign on my online portfolio is coming along nicely. I hope to launch that within the next 2-3 weeks. After that, I’ll be cleaning up the design of this here blog a little bit. I’ve been itching to do some comics recently, but I have to order some new pens first. But man, I have been really wanting to do some actual drawing.
